#892 The ability to look back and laugh

… Because what else can you do?

“Hey dude, remember that one time when that chick tried to steal your phone and said it was hers? And then she tried to take down your number plate so she could call the police and tell them you stole it?!”

“Yeah, looking back now it was pretty funny – but oh man – I wonder how that phone conversation went down with the cops…”

We’ve all had these moments.

So as we start moving forward, take a look back, take a good laugh to remember that life is

AWESOME!

  1. Well, not long ago I “lost my phone and purse!” Getting it back from the police was not funny and the lady I tried to give a reward to said she’ll likely not ever turn anything again b/c she wasn’t treated much better at the station! I sure do hope the day will come when she and I can both laugh about it!

*Nice to see you back Lizzy!
    Happy New Year!

    • Hey Wendy, didn’t even realise this was posted!!! Thanks for the comment. Hope your year’s going alright so far!

  2. There’s so many times that I can look back and laugh. Moments that were too serious at the time or something that had made me upset is just laughable now. Here’s one that makes me laugh now and I thought it was funny 10 minutes after it happened, but at the time I was freaking out.
I was at my grandparents house with the kids and I had just taken Zach’s pull up off to change him and he runs off. I don’t think much of it, it happens… but then he squated in the floor and pooped real quick… so quick that I couldn’t even get up off the floor to catch him. He knows better, so I don’t know why he did it. I was freaking out, but both my grandparents and Lilly were cracking up.
