#920 Unexpected Birthday Wishes

The day after my birthday I was walking down the corridor at work, when suddenly “a wild staff member appeared”. Now, usually, this staff member and I would exchange our “hello’s” with a nod or a comment like ‘nice day for it’ – you know, that type of passer-by banter.

They knew something I wouldn’t have guessed they knew and when this was revealed to me I nearly wet my pants! They said ‘Happy Birthday!’. My goodness, my eyes widened, my jaw dropped and I said (a little too enthusiastically) ‘OH THANK YOOOOU!’.

Haha! Ah, unexpected birthday wishes can be quite…

“God danced the day you were born and the angels sang Hallelujah!”
Never too old to celebrate,,,and it’s a lot like this too:
