#953 Getting to your destination just as it starts pouring

The sky gets super dark, the first few drops start falling, you pick up the pace, getting closer, closer, closer…

Then, just as the sky unleashes a torrential downpour, you make it!

About 1000awesomefriends

I am just one of the many who have been inspired by Neil Pasricha's 1000 Awesome Things to be better, to see the world as a better place, and to keep the awesome movement alive, as I think it makes the world a better place! We all have enough negative to hear about, what we need is a positive space, positive outlook on life. And I hope this blog will give us the chance to do it!

  1. Yes! Like getting in the car just before it starts raining, or getting out of the car while it\’s raining in between bouts of pouring rain. I was watching The Lakehouse the other day and the main woman said one of the things she liked was finishing the picnic just as it starts raining. 🙂

  2. I love a good storm, but I really don’t like being caught out in it. Just yesterday is a great example of this. It rained all day yesterday, but we moved on with our day. It quit raining long enough fro us to get from our apartment to the car, then it sprinkled a little bit until we got to my in-law’s house. Then it quit long enough for us to get to the house. Then it looked like it rained the entire time we were there and quit right when we were getting ready to leave. I guess we just have good timing. It was really great because I didn’t take an umbrella with us.

  3. Unless there’s lightning and/or I need to be somewhere pulled together, I actually don’t mind getting caught in the rain! And as Neil Pasricha said, Rain Hair:)
