#970 Reaching a milestone

Today marks one month of our blog, 1000 Awesome Friends! It hasn’t always been easy, but working together and learning together, we are gathering momentum, keeping the Journey of Awesome going and growing.

As with many accomplishments, it couldn’t have been done alone. Thanks a lot to the team of contributors who from all corners of the world have shared with us what makes their day awesome. You really make our blog a community of awesomeness.

In reality, the journey is just beginning, so if you want to get more involved, invite your friends, share your favourite posts on Facebook, let us know your thoughts in the comments, sign up to get posts via email, become a contributor on the About page or submit your awesome thing via the Submit page.

Because a milestone is a step on the journey, something to celebrate as the road stretches on into the distance. So buckle up and get ready, because the ride ahead is going to be

About 1000awesomefriends

I am just one of the many who have been inspired by Neil Pasricha's 1000 Awesome Things to be better, to see the world as a better place, and to keep the awesome movement alive, as I think it makes the world a better place! We all have enough negative to hear about, what we need is a positive space, positive outlook on life. And I hope this blog will give us the chance to do it!

  1. WOOHOOO! *Passes around celebratory nutella sandwiches* Great job everyone! We have successfully gotten past the dying-in-one-week option that we were worried about 🙂

    Well…. We rock! xD

    • So true. Stats shows the overwhelming majority of blogs die in the first month, but here we are, going strong.
I think the content is solid, now we just need to get more people to find out about it!

  2. No, thank you Nicholas for setting this whole thing up and taking charge. Without you we’d still be debating on whether or not to just bombard someone else’s blog so we can hang out or all get together on facebook. Its been fun and I look forward to our many more months. I love that we can all contribute and put in our own awesome things and get a chance to tell the world. Now we can all pat ourselves on the back for a great job.
I was wondering something though… where IS everyone from? I’m from West Virginia, USA.
